What is collage? Or really, what is collage to me? It’s taking an image or moment and recreating it with clipped images, or colored paper. Rearranging these visuals to tell a story all my own. It’s a true and fun art form. Depicting others, and telling outlandish stories with a cut paper imagination. Literally playing with someone’s image, real or not. Even my sister has said “I would never wear those trousers!” I love the reactions, hearing the laughter, feeling the excitement as they see and discover new things; like the antler on Matt’s head. Collage Art is a medium all it’s own, exemplary to what lies around us and beyond.
